GDPR

The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation that was adopted in 2016 and effective as of May 25 2018. The core of GDPR is to protect the fundamental right to privacy for European citizens, it also strengthen the security, data protection, transparency and the compliance for the entire industry. We recommend you to read through the GDPR Legislation and get familiar with the definition Personal Data and the Rights of the data subject as in you as an individual.

Payscanner support the new regulation and will ensure that all Payscanner services will comply with GDPR.
To be compliant we have updated our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service Agreement.

In addition, we also been progressively updating our system as you might have noticed as a current client of ours. However, a few updates that been introduced follows:

  • We made it possible for you to export personal data directly from your client account.
  • We added features to keep your account secure. For example, Two-factor authentication which you can find more information about in the security tab located in your client account.
  • More clear information on how we collect and use your personal information.
  • A more convenient and user-friendly approach for you to receive information concerning updates to our Privacy Policy or changes to the Terms and Conditions.
